Hanchey Bamboo Resort will temporarily close its doors for a three-day period from June 5th to 7th, 2024, to host a staff retreat. This annual event is essential for team building and professional development, ensuring that the resort continues to provide outstanding service to its guests and is part of our ongoing commitment to our staff’s ongoing development.
Staff retreats and training weekends at Hanchey Bamboo Resort have been integral in fostering a sense of community and enhancing our staff skills since our inception in 2018. Partnering with Buddhism for Social Development Action (BSDA) and the SMILE Institute, we offer a range of profesisonal and personal developmental opportunities such as meditation sessions led by local monks and team-building exercises in the resort's Lotus Shala. These events not only boost morale but also reinforce the resort's commitment to social enterprise and cultural integration.
This year, we’ll again be partnering with BSDA to take our teams to Sihanoukville in Preah Sihanouk for an off-site retreat to continue to enhance our staff capabilities in various areas such as hospitality, administration, and tourism management.
We will re-open on Saturday 8th June, 2024 when guests can look forward to even more dedicated and revitalized staff, ensuring an exceptional experience at this eco-luxury destination.
